A 19-year-old Highlands Ranch man, awaiting trial on a meth charge, was arrested today on charges alleging he downloaded, possessed and distributed child pornography.
Zachary Zelenak has been under investigation since last month, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department stated.
A search warrant was served at his home at 9590 Paramatta Place today and seized “numerous” computers from the home.
Zelenak is in the Douglas County jail on a $50,000 bond on felony charges of possessing and distributing child pornography.
Public records show Zelenak was arrested in October on felony meth-possession charges and has a Jan. 6 court date in Douglas County on that case.
In 2009 he received a three-month deferred sentence and eight hours of community service after he pleaded guilty to being underaged in possession of alcohol in Chatfield State Park, according to court records.
