GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—The Mesa County district attorney has dismissed eight drunken driving cases after questions were raised about a Colorado trooper’s credibility.
According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel (), a state patrol investigation found that trooper Donald Moseman submitted improper case reports and displayed bias during investigations.
The state patrol says Moseman is no longer employed by the patrol.
The patrol said the trooper had a bias against drivers who may have consumed alcohol or drugs. Investigators said the trooper submitted reports which were a combination of reports from prior arrests, resulting in reports which contained wrong or conflicting information.
Attempts to reach Moseman were unsuccessful.
