BEMIDJI, Minn. — Jason Zucker scored twice and Drew Shore got the game-winner in the third period as Denver beat Bemidji State 3-2 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association on Friday.

Zucker opened the scoring in the second period then got the tying goal for the Pioneers (7-5-3, 5-3-3) at 12:51 of the third period.

Shore netted the winning goal less than three minutes later. He has points in seven straight games.

Bemidji State (6-9-2, 4-7-2) went ahead 2-1 on goals by Shea Walters and Jamie MacQueen.

Juho Olkinuora made a game-high 13 of his 21 saves in the second period, while Dan Bakala turned away 25 shots for the Beavers.

Alaska-Anchorage 6, Colorado College 3

COLORADO SPRINGS — Mitch Bruijsten scored a goal in each period, leading Alaska-Anchorage over Colorado College in a WCHA game.

Bruijsten’s first goal at 17:37 of the first period pulled the Seawolves (6-9-2, 3-9-1) within one goal and his second at 3:00 of the second tied it 2-2. He completed the hat trick at 3:55 of the third period.

Curtis Leinweber, Austin Coldwell and Brad Gorham also had goals for UAA, which outshot Colorado College 30-29.

William Rapuzzi, Alexander Krushelnyski and Nick Dineen scored for the Tigers (8-5-0, 6-5-0). Scott Winkler had an assist to extend his scoring streak to five games.

It was Colorado College’s first home loss of the season (5-1-0).
