THE CASE FOR FLEXIBILITY
The skinny: If the powers that be at the NFL offices push to have the potential to flex future games to Monday night, this one may serve as Exhibit A. While the Seahawks did beat the Rams in the final week of the 2010 season to earn a playoff spot at 7-9, tonight’s matchup doesn’t promise the same drama. This year the Rams are the lowest- scoring team in the league — 11.7 points per outing — and their coaching staff has to be on the hottest of seats.
The difference will be: Who is most interested at this point in the year. The Rams have looked decidedly sluggish at times and were shut out last week by the 49ers.
The call: Seahawks 24-6.
