A Goodwill headquarters in Adams County was evacuated after a small fire started near a trash compactor this afternoon.

At 10:48 a.m., firefighters were called to the 6800 block of Federal Boulevard and quickly contained the fire, according to a news release from the Westminster Fire Department.

The building was evacuated and one person was taken to the hospital. Details about their injuries were not immediately available.

North Washington Fire Protection District and Southwest Adams County Fire Rescue also responded to the call.
