Part of what you’ll experience, says Fleetwood, is a mountain where even younger kids feel independent. Parents, meanwhile, keep an eye on things, either from their decks or from Seven Trails Grille, slope-side hangout where residents share a little cheer at the end of a run. But don’t put off these prices, says Finch: Costs-per-foot at Base Camp One dropped way down after 2009 and have now started rising again as it’s become one of the fastest sellers.
