AURORA, Colo.—A Denver-area bus driver accused of hitting an Aurora woman in a crosswalk and dragging her 10 feet has been identified.

Aurora Police say 57-year-old Michael Byars has been charged with careless driving resulting in serious bodily injury. The Denver Post reports that Byars was charged after his Regional Transportation District bus injured 46-year-old Rejenna Hargrove as she was crossing a street Friday ( ).

Hargrove suffered a broken pelvis but is expected to recover. Byars was cited and released from the scene.
