Colorado State football coach Jim McElwain announced three members of his staff Wednesday.

They include Tom Ehlers and Tim Duffie, who are staying with the Rams after coaching with Steve Fairchild, McElwain’s predecessor.

Ehlers will remain CSU’s director of football operations. Duffie was the Rams’ secondary coach last season and has been with the team since 2008, when he was the cornerbacks coach.

The newcomer is Dave Baldwin, a Denver native who most recently was the offensive coordinator at Utah State. He was the head coach at San Jose State from 1997-2000 and the offensive coordinator at Michigan State from 2003-06.

McElwain said titles and duties for Duffie and Baldwin will be announced later. McElwain, who was hired by CSU on Dec. 13, will leave the Alabama coaching staff after the Crimson Tide plays LSU in the Bowl Championship Series title game Monday night in New Orleans. McElwain is the Tide’s offensive coordinator.
