DENVER—A Denver sheriff’s department sergeant is facing a menacing charge.
Court records show Sgt. Charles Denovellis was arrested over the weekend on a misdemeanor menacing warrant from the Colorado Springs police department. KCNC-TV in Denver reports he was arrested in Denver and held at the Denver jail, where he is a supervisor.
Denovellis told the television station he was advised not to comment.
He is free on a $2,000 bond.
