BOULDER, Colo.—Boulder County sheriff’s officials estimate 50 chickens and a duck have died in a fire at a chicken coop.
The Daily Camera reports ( ) the property owners reported the fire Tuesday morning when they noticed smoke from the coop. It’s not immediately clear how the fire started, but so far, no foul play is suspected.
