Denver-based Quiznos announced today that it is expanding to the Philippines in partnership with ACA Group.
The first location in the partnership will be a store in Manila which should open early this year, said Quiznos. Quiznos said it plans to expand to more than 35 additional location in the Philippines.
Quiznos said that the ACA Group is a partner with well-known, established businesses in the Philippines.
Lee Vala, international chief development officer for Quiznos, said ACA and Quiznos are committed to securing high quality sites for the Quiznos restaurants in the Philippines.
“We are excited to work with the ACA Group, and know that the strong Quiznos brand and premium recipes will expand their market in the Philippines,” said Vala.
Quiznos said it believes it can be successful in the expansion because the country has a hardworking middle class, which has an affinity for American brands, and hot, fresh food.
