Jamie Falcon has been a patroller at Breckenridge for 10 years and skiing for 14 years. Here are a few of her favorite things:
Favorite run? Hard to say. I just appreciate being able to ski every day. Of course, new snow makes everything more fun.
Most rewarding aspect of your job? Interacting with all the different types of people who visit the ski area and working with a great group of co-workers who enjoy being in the mountains as much as I do.
Safety tip: Ski or ride appropriately for the early-season conditions. Give people around you the respect and courtesy you would show them outside the ski-area space. Slower speed and increased awareness. Practice your turns. It’s not the time to be going straight down a groomed run.
