LITTLETON, Colo.—Littleton police say a man who was mistaken for an intruder was fatally stabbed by his nephew.
Authorities identified the nephew Thursday as 18-year-old Dylan Jones.
Police say Dylan Jones was spending the night at his grandmother’s house on Saturday when his uncle, 48-year-old John Thomas Jones of Montuak, N.Y., arrived unannounced just before midnight.
Police say John Thomas Jones was stabbed when he entered a spare bedroom where Dylan Jones was sleeping.
Authorities say police are still investigating and are conferring with prosecutors. No charges have been filed.
