The Good Health Downtown Market and Deli is getting out of the grocery business and concentrating on its deli and catering operations, owner Steve Swanson said on Thursday.

The store, located at 722 Cooper Ave., sent out its regular blast email message to shoppers on Thursday, advising, “Good Health is changing. We are focusing all our efforts on our deli and considering partners to expand into a restaurant.”

The process of emptying the shelves has been under way for some time, Swanson said.

As part of the changeover, the store is offering 25 percent discounts on general groceries and dairy, frozen foods, bulk items and household supplies such as detergents, pet foods and paper towels.
