Bighorn sheep fest at Garden of the Gods. The annual Bighorn Sheep Festival will take place Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Garden of the Gods. There will be presentations, guided nature walks and children’s activities and more.
Catch Arapahoe Basin’s Beacon Bowl. The 10th annual Beacon Bowl and Avalanche Awareness Day will take place Feb. 11 at Arapahoe Basin. Entrants compete to find a buried beacon. Spectators can test avalanche gear and attend clinics. At the après-ski party, expect awards, a raffle and auctions. Entry fee is $25.
