GREELEY, Colo.—A former Greeley West High School student who says she was humiliated over a strip search has filed a $250,000 lawsuit against the school district.

Stevie Grayson, now a freshman at the University of Northern Colorado, says the search for drugs in 2010 violated her constitutional rights to protection against unlawful search and seizure.

According to the Greeley Tribune (), school officials determined that several policies were violated in the search and the school monitor was put on leave following the incident.
