Two people are in the hospital with minor injuries after an accident in Snowmass.
According to a media release from the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office, the accident was first reported at about 3:15 p.m.
The accident occurred when a single dog sled collided with a tree just near outside the campground area of the Snowmass Ski Area, according to Adam Crider, a deputy acting as spokesman for the sheriff’s department.
Members of the Snowmass Ski Patrol found the two injured people and transported them to the hospital.
