RIFLE — Rifle police say a body found in the Colorado River is that of a Houston man who went missing in October.
Police say Bill Browne’s body was discovered Tuesday near the Rifle boat ramp, not far from where he fell into the river when his boat hit an overpass pillar Oct. 14. Browne had been fishing with friends. Rescuers in October suspended the search for Browne after several days.
