WOODLAND PARK, Colo.—Woodland Park police are investigating the death of a Teller County sheriff’s deputy found in his home.

Authorities received a 911 call from the home around 6:20 p.m. Saturday, and officers who went there found the body. The deputy was off-duty at the time.

The circumstances of the death haven’t been released, and the deputy’s name wasn’t immediately released.

Police aren’t releasing details of the 911 call. They wouldn’t say Sunday whether foul play is suspected.
