DENVER—Authorities say 19 alleged members of an outlaw motorcycle gang are in custody on suspicion of various drug and illegal firearms charges.
U.S. Attorney John Walsh this week announced that 19 members of the Hell’s Lovers motorcycle club were indicted. Authorities had on person in custody, while 12 were arrested late Friday and Saturday.
Six were arrested this week by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Allegations contained in two indictments announced Monday include possession of concussion grenades and a bullet proof vest that were stolen from the Adams County Sheriff’s Department, as well as an illegal sawed off shotgun.
Other charges include allegations that members possessed drugs and used homes in Denver for drug distribution.
