WOODLAND PARK — The Teller County sheriff’s deputy, found dead in his home after shooting himself, was identified today.
Matthew James Kennedy , 30 , was found inside his Woodland Park home, according to the Teller County Coroner’s Office.
Officers arrived at the home around 6:20 p.m. after receiving a 911 call.
Kennedy was dead by the time authorities arrived.
