AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—A hearing that will determine whether an Air Force Academy cadet will be court-martialed on sexual misconduct charges enters its second day.
A hearing continues Friday for Stephan H. Claxton who is charged with attempted abusive sexual contact, wrongful sexual contact, assault and underage drinking. The Gazette reports () a cadet testified Thursday that the alleged assault involved a former cadet who was passed out in a dorm Nov. 4.
Cadets testified they found Claxton in a room with the incapacitated, partially undressed woman and reported the incident that night.
Claxton is one of three cadets facing sexual misconduct charges.
Another cadet faces a charge of rape and a third faces a charge of aggravated sexual assault. Academy officials say the three cases are unrelated.
