Shaun White is expected to compete today in the slopestyle event after he limped away from the superpipe Thursday during practice at the Winter X Games. He aggravated an ankle sprain. His manager, Crystal Garrett, said later in the afternoon that White plans to compete in slopestyle and superpipe. “He will be up bright and early for training (today),” Garrett said.

White sat at the bottom of the superpipe at Buttermilk with his left boot off and talked with medical staff. He was on his final run of the practice session.

The slopestyle eliminations are today at 10:30 a.m., with the finals Saturday night. The superpipe elimination is Sunday at 12:15 p.m., and the finals are Sunday night.
