DENVER—Frontier Airlines is coming home, bringing its headquarters back to Denver.

According to the Denver Post ( ), the airline announced Thursday a chief executive and new senior management team will be based in Denver. The airline was based in Indianapolis following an upheaval in the airline industry.

Republic bought Frontier out of bankruptcy protection in 2009, and merged it with Midwest Airlines, a small Milwaukee-based airline. Frontier’s main hubs are Denver and Milwaukee.
