A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Aurora, police said.
William Moore, 30, of Aurora, was arrested Wednesday night and is being held without bond at the Arapahoe County Jail on suspicion of murder, according to an Aurora Police Department media release.
Moore is suspected of fatally shooting 29-year-old Ebon Kelly.
At about 6:20 a.m. on Jan. 18 police were called to the 1200 block of Xanadu Street on a report of a shooting.
Officers found Kelly in the front yard of a home suffering from a gun shot wound to the upper body. He was taken to a local hospital where he died.
Police said earlier that the victim and suspect apparently knew each other. A motive for the shooting has not been released.
