FORT COLLINS, Colo.—New Colorado State athletic director Jack Graham wants the Rams to do better, but he won’t get rich even if they win Mountain West Conference championships.

The Coloradoan reports ( ) Graham’s contract shows he will be paid $100 in bonuses in each of seven categories of performance tied to the athletic department’s academic and athletic success, such as winning conference basketball titles. The most bonus money he could earn per year is $700.

Graham in November signed a contract that calls for a base salary of $260,000 per year, with adjustments made by the university president. The contract also includes an annual $6,000 stipend for membership in a country club and other organizations.

Predecessor Paul Kowalczyk received similar base pay, but his potential bonuses ranged from $5,000 to $10,000.
