GREELEY, Colo.—National Forest officials are considering putting limits on visitors to the Pawnee National Grassland because of fire danger.
Forest supervisor Glenn Casamassa says three fires have been reported over the past two weekends. He says the grassland may have to be closed unless the Eastern Plains get more moisture.
According to the Denver Post ( ), most of the problems have been caused by shooters, who have been warned to be careful when they use firearms.
