DURANGO, Colo.—Former Ignacio Town Manager Balty Quintana has been sentenced to 20 days in jail after pleading guilty to harassment and public indecency.

Quintana was sentenced Tuesday. Prosecutors say he exposed himself to a woman he worked with at the Ignacio Town Hall in March.

The Durango Herald reports () that prosecutors asked for a 30-day sentence.

Quintana’s lawyer asked for no time in jail, saying he’s willing to participate in treatment and has already paid dearly by the loss of his job.

The judge said jail time is appropriate, noting that Quintana was a supervisor who harassed a subordinate.

Quintana worked for the town for 32 years, including 20 years as town manager.
