Firefighters put out a structure fire in Wheat Ridge this morning, no one was injured.

The fire started at about 7:30 a.m. at 12085 W. 52nd Ave., according to an Arvada Fire Department media release.

When firefighters arrived the building, which is behind nine greenhouses, was “fully involved,” the fire department said.

It took firefighters about 10 minutes to bring the blaze, which was caused by cooking, under control.

The caretaker of the greenhouses, his wife and four children have been displaced by the fire. They will, however, be able to move into a rental home they own, the fire department said.

The Arvada Fire Department covers some sections of Wheat Ridge.
