Wheat futures rose the most in five weeks on speculation that persistent dry weather in the Great Plains will hurt crops emerging from winter dormancy in the next two months. About 49 percent of the winter crop in Kansas was in good or excellent condition as of Jan. 29, down from 53 percent a month earlier, the Department of Agriculture said Monday.
