DENVER—Colorado lawmakers are leaving the Capitol early to participate in Republican caucuses across the state.
Lawmakers cleared their committee schedules Tuesday afternoon to give Republicans a chance to take part in voting. The caucuses begin at 7 p.m.
State Republican Chairman Ryan Call will participate in his precinct caucus at an Aurora middle school before going to party headquarters to monitor results.
Colorado Democrats hold their caucuses on March 6.
