ASPEN, Colo.—Republican Party officials say they expect up to 200 people to cast ballots at the presidential election caucus in Pitkin County, which includes the upscale ski resort town of Aspen.

The Aspen Daily News reports ( ) that by midday Monday, more than 100 people had registered to attend Tuesday’s caucus.

County Republican Party chairwoman Frieda Wallison says she expects as many as 200 registered Republicans to participate.

The county clerk’s office says about 19 percent of Pitkin County voters are registered as Republicans, 35 percent are registered Democrats and 45 percent are unaffiliated. The totals include active and inactive voters.
