BOULDER — Open Space rangers will be stepping up educational efforts after they had to kill two aggressive coyotes — one of which bit a jogger on the leg — on Sunday.
Boulder Open Space division manager Eric Stone said the two incidents Sunday involved coyotes that did not exhibit normal coyote behavior of running away from approaching humans.
