ARVADA, Colo.—Fans at a high school girls basketball game in suburban Denver got to hear a Broadway star sing the national anthem.
Actress Kristin Chenoweth sang at the Arvada West High School game Friday night. Her niece, Emily Chenoweth, is a point guard for the school.
The actress has sung at Arvada West’s games before.
The announcer introduced her Friday night as an Emmy and Tony Award winner—and Emily Chenoweth’s aunt.
