Getting your player ready...
Chatfield, Aurora, Boyd and Boulder reservoirs continue to sport fishable ice, although some open water is showing. A few trout and perch are being picked up on ice jigs. Urban ponds are opening again — it is dangerous ice. South Park waters are fishing slowly; better to go to North Park, where fishing continues to be decent. On the Delaneys (fly and lure only), try jigging spoons and small tubes. The best action for lake trout is Williams Fork. The urban sections of the South Platte, Arkansas and Poudre are fishable and producing a few fish, mostly on midges. Small streamers are also a good option.
