LONGMONT — Colo. Highway 119 reopened about 3:30 p.m. between County Line Road and Weld County Road 3 after being closed because of a natural gas leak on the north side of the highway.

A road grader clipped a well head at about 12:06 p.m. today, spewing unscented natural gas into the air, according to Mountain View Fire and Rescue battalion chief Mike Lee.

As of 1:50 p.m., a temporary plug has stopped the leak, according to a Mountain View spokeswoman.
