ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—A man shot by police in a drug store parking lot in Englewood has died.
The shooting happened Thursday evening.
Police spokesman Brad Johnson says officers were taking the occupants of a stolen car into custody in the parking lot when an associate of the occupants pulled up in a Ford Mustang convertible.
Police say shots were fired after the Mustang driver allegedly backed up erratically, ignored orders to stop and appeared to reach for a weapon.
