Anything that makes flying with children easier is worth a look. The QuickSmart Backpack Stroller may be worth its $200-plus price tag. The streamlined design, with a lightweight but sturdy aluminum frame, five-point safety harness and retractable hood — but few other bells or whistles — folds down to about 23 inches by 12 inches by 13 inches deep. Stashed in the included backpack, it meets most airlines’ carry-on-dimension limits (fitting in the overhead bin), although smaller commuter planes may be an exception. Weighing in at 11 pounds, including the backpack, the stroller’s six wheels (one pair centered in the front and two pairs flanking the back) are a diminutive 4.5-inch diameter, not so hot on rough terrain but manageable along airport corridors. The stroller is designed for children 6 months and older weighing up to 45 pounds. Comes in black or a navy blue and white pattern.
