PUEBLO, Colo.—A former employee of the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office has pleaded guilty to stealing from the evidence room.

Colorado Springs television station KKTV reports ( ) Tara Adame has pleaded guilty to felony theft and first-degree official misconduct. She is scheduled to be sentenced April 24.

Court documents say investigators in the case discovered that more than $10,500 and 200 pain pills were missing from at least 15 cases, some of which dated back to 2008.
