LARAMIE — Francisco Cruz scored 16 points Saturday and Leonard Washington contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds, helping Wyoming snap a four-game losing streak with a 64-54 victory over Boise State.
Luke Martinez added 10 points for Wyoming (19-9, 5-7 Mountain West), which never trailed after taking an 8-6 lead on a 3-pointer by JayDee Luster.
Jeff Elorriaga’s two free throws cut Boise State’s deficit to 58-52 with two minutes left. But Wyoming made four consecutive free throws and Cruz, a 6-foot-3 senior guard from Lincoln High School in Denver, scored on a layup to put the Broncos away.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Amric Fields scored eight consecutive points for Texas Christian in a 48-second span during a tiebreaking run and the Horned Frogs upset another ranked team at home.
TCU (17-11, 7-5) has won eight consecutive home games, the last two over teams ranked in the top 25.
The feisty Frogs are guaranteed their first winning season since 2004-05.
