The Denver Post received awards for general excellence for large newspapers in ceremonies held this weekend for the Colorado Press Association and the Colorado Associated Press Editors and Reporters contests.
The Post also received the award for Public Service in both contests — CAPER judges honored the newspaper for stories by David Olinger and Kevin Vaughan about problems in Adams County, and the CPA honored Karen E.
