The California Zephyr is stopped in Granby for track repairs, an Amtrak spokeswoman said this evening.
The passenger train, with 216 passengers aboard, was expected to arrive in Denver at 6:38 p.m., but was stopped in Granby because of problems with the line ahead, said spokeswoman Danelle Hunter.
She said the train was stopped before 6 p.m., and the repairs were expected to take two hours.
The California Zephyr travels between Chicago and Emeryville, Calif.
