GREEN MOUNTAIN FALLS, Colo.—Two men could face charges in connection with a fire that destroyed the historic Green Mountain Falls Town Hall last week.

KRDO-TV in Colorado Springs reports ( ) that authorities following up on a tip Friday found 21-year-old Zachariah Shaffer and 22-year-old Kyle Lawrence at a home suffering from burns.

Shaffer was taken to a hospital and was later arrested on suspicion of charges of first-degree arson, second-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit arson. He is free after posting a $25,000 bond. His phone number isn’t listed.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Lawrence on the same charges, pending his release from a burn care center in Denver.

Green Mountain Falls is searching for an interim town hall.
