COLORADO SPRINGS — Police have identified the man killed in a Saturday morning shooting outside a motorcycle group’s clubhouse.
Virgil Means, 31, was fleeing the club at 628 W. Vermijo after a brawl when he was shot, police said. A Sunday autopsy ruled the death a homicide, the city’s sixth of 2012.
Officers say they have made no arrests in the case.
Police got involved in the case after Means was dropped off at Penrose Hospital about 5:30 a.m. Saturday by a friend. Means was declared dead a short time later.
