BOULDER, Colo.—Justin Smith’s 3-pointer broke a tie in the final minute and Lewis-Palmer held on to defeat Sierra 44-43 in the boys Class 4A state championship game Saturday night.
Josh Scott scored 23 points to lead the Rangers (27-1) in the game played at Colorado’s Coors Events Center—where Scott will be playing as a member of the Buffaloes next season.
Jalen Little led the Stallions (26-2) with 12 points.
