COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs arrested a man early this morning after officers found he concocted an elaborate story about a robbery that never happened.
Police were called to an apartment complex on the 300 block of Lionstone Drive just after 8 p.m. Friday after a man reported he was robbed at gunpoint. The man described a luxury SUV with 22-inch rims and a driver with a Jamaican accent who pulled up, drew a gun and demanded cash.
