BOULDER, Colo.—Boulder police say 10 people were hospitalized after a pickup truck plowed into a line of cars.
Police spokeswoman Kim Kobel says the driver of the pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed Monday night when the accidents occurred.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera ( ), the truck hit one car, then hit a parked car before slamming into four other cars stopped at a red light. The impact pushed one of the cars into an intersection, causing it to collide with other cars.
Forty-three-year-old Sean Marino was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving, hit-and-run and driving under the influence. Police say Marino allegedly told officers he was under the influence of a painkiller at the time of the crash.
