A missing hiker has been located in Saguache County, and crews are working to rescue the man.
Warren Grams, a member of the incident management group in Archuleta County confirmed the man was located just before 2:45 p.m.
Grams did not know the man’s condition, but said crews were working to move the hiker to a pick-up location.
Randal Arredondo, a dispatcher with the county Sheriff’s Office said a helicopter was searching the area near Challenger Peak earlier this afternoon, and a full ground crew was later combing the area.
No other information is currently available.
