GOLDEN, Colo.—An Edgewater man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison after he held 100 police officers at bay last year by firing more than 350 shots from his house.
Lupo Solazzo pleaded guilty to attempted assault. No one was injured during the standoff.
Solazzo told authorities he had been attacked by a man who wanted money for drugs and was trying to defend himself.
