GOLDEN, Colo.—Lookout Mountain residents are fighting a plan by a church to triple its size.
Activation Ministry International has won final approval from Jefferson County to build a 30,000-square-foot facility with 3 or 4 acres of parking.
A church spokeswoman tells the Denver Post ( ) church officials have no plans to move.
Residents say it will increase traffic on narrow mountain roads and mar a route with many historic attractions.
